Jerry Funt Biographical Information

Jerry is an associate attorney committed to the zealous advocacy of his clients.

Jerry graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2020 with a certificate of concentration in Social Justice Advocacy. In law school, Jerry participated in the Stetson Law Review, competed with the Dispute Resolution team with a focus on negotiation, directed several pro bono projects related to equal access to justice, and maintained volunteer work within the community. Jerry participated in a first of its kind externship with the American Civil Liberties Union and served as a Certified Legal Intern at the 13th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, taking cases before judges and to trial under the supervision of licensed attorneys.

Jerry has spent most of his career prior to joining our office by working in community advocacy, empowering individuals in a variety of challenging situations to achieve positive outcomes. Jerry brings this same intention and effort to our office, recognizing how significant the decision to declare bankruptcy is and with a goal of making the process as smooth and helpful as possible for clients. Jerry continues to participate in volunteer work in the Tampa Bay area with different local organizations.
